Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Meetsies LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our website at  meetsies.com and our mobile application (“the App”). By using Meetsies, you agree to the terms of this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:

• Contact Information: Name, email address, and mobile phone number, collected when you create an account.
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, including features used, actions taken, session duration, device type, operating system, and IP address.
• Device & Technical Information: Device identifiers, app version, system software information, and crash/diagnostic data collected periodically to facilitate software updates, product support, and service improvements.
• SMS Consent Data: Your consent to receive SMS messages, including the timestamp and method of opt-in, as required by applicable law.
• User-Generated Content: Any profile information, photos, or messages you choose to provide within the App.

We do not collect precise geolocation data. We do not knowingly collect data from users under the age of 18.
3. How We Collect Information
We collect information:

• Directly from you when you register, fill out forms, or use App features.
• Automatically through device and usage logs when you interact with the App.
• Through our third-party service providers in connection with delivering our services (see Section 5).

4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features.
• Send transactional SMS notifications (e.g., login verification codes, meeting reminders).
• Send promotional SMS messages only if you have provided explicit opt-in consent.
• Diagnose technical problems and monitor App performance.
• Facilitate software updates and related support services.
• Respond to customer support requests.
• Comply with legal obligations.

5. Third-Party Service Providers
We share your personal information only with service providers necessary to operate our services. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own marketing purposes and are required to maintain the same or equivalent level of data protection as described in this policy. Current providers include:

• Twilio – SMS delivery and phone number verification. Twilio may process your mobile number to send and receive text messages on our behalf.

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to any third party.
6. SMS Messaging & Consent

• Consent: By providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from Meetsies. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
• Non-Sharing: SMS opt-in data and consent records are never shared with third parties.
• Opt-Out: Text STOP to our number at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive one final confirmation message.
• Help: Text HELP for assistance, or contact us at hello@meetsies.com.
• Message Frequency: Varies based on your activity within the App.
• Costs: Standard message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier.

7. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting hello@meetsies.com. We will fulfill deletion requests within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data.
• Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate data.
• Opt-Out of Targeted Advertising: We do not currently engage in targeted advertising using your personal data.

These rights are available to residents of California (CCPA), Oregon (OCPA), and other states with applicable privacy laws. To exercise your rights, email us at hello@meetsies.com from the email address associated with your Meetsies account so we can verify your identity before processing your request.
9. Children’s Privacy
Meetsies is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a user under 18, we will promptly delete it.
10. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or mobile network is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Terms of Service

Effective Date: June 14, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Meetsies mobile application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use our services.
To be specific, your use of the Meetsies website constitutes your initial agreement. Upon first opening the Meetsies mobile application, you will be required to explicitly accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy before creating an account or accessing any features. This click-to-accept agreement during onboarding is a binding confirmation of your intent.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Meetsies. By using the App, you represent that you are 18 or older. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will terminate their account and delete their data.

3. User Conduct
You agree to use Meetsies for its intended purpose of connecting with others respectfully. The following are prohibited:

• Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward other users
• Impersonating another person or entity
• Using the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit any part of the service

Violations may result in immediate account termination.

4. Safety Disclaimer
Meetsies provides a platform for people to connect. We do not conduct background checks on our users. You acknowledge that meeting strangers in person carries inherent risks. You agree to take all necessary safety precautions when meeting other users. Meetsies is not liable for any interactions, injuries, disputes, or other consequences that occur during or after meetings arranged through the platform.

5. SMS Messaging Terms
By providing your mobile phone number and creating an account, you agree to receive transactional and/or promotional text messages from Meetsies.

• Message Frequency: Varies based on your activity (e.g., verification codes, meeting reminders).

6. Intellectual Property
The Meetsies name, logo, and all original content within the App are the exclusive property of Meetsies LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of our service without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Meetsies LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Meetsies at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or that we determine is harmful to other users or the platform.

9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Additional Terms for iOS Users (Apple App Store)
The following terms apply if you downloaded or access Meetsies through the Apple App Store. These terms are required by Apple and supplement the Terms of Service above.
Acknowledgment. These Terms are between you and Meetsies LLC only, not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”). Meetsies LLC, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
Scope of License. Your authorization to use the App is limited to a non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules. You may not distribute or make the App available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices simultaneously. You may not transfer, redistribute, or sublicense the App. If you sell your Apple device, you must remove the App from it beforehand. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code of, modify, or create derivative works of the App or any part thereof, except as permitted by applicable law.
Consent to Use of Technical Data. You agree that Meetsies LLC may collect and use technical data and related information — including technical information about your device, system and application software, and peripherals — gathered periodically to facilitate software updates, product support, and other services related to the App. This information may be used in a form that does not personally identify you to improve our products and services.
Maintenance and Support. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance or support services for the App. Any support questions should be directed to Meetsies LLC:

Warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” with all faults and without warranty of any kind. Meetsies LLC expressly disclaims all warranties and conditions with respect to the App, including but not limited to the implied warranties and conditions of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement of third-party rights. In the event the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
No Warranty (User Acknowledgment). YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. SHOULD THE APP PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME THE ENTIRE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR, OR CORRECTION.
Product Liability. Meetsies LLC, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App, including: (a) product liability claims; (b) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (c) claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
Intellectual Property Claims. Meetsies LLC, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any third-party intellectual property infringement claim relating to the App.
Limitation of Liability. TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MEETSIES LLC BE LIABLE FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR ANY OTHER COMMERCIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP. In no event shall Meetsies LLC’s total liability to you for all damages exceed fifty dollars ($50.00).
Export Compliance. You may not use or export the App except as authorized by United States law and the laws of the jurisdiction in which you obtained the App. The App may not be exported or re-exported into any U.S.-embargoed country or to anyone on the U.S. Treasury Department’s Specially Designated Nationals List or the U.S. Department of Commerce Denied Persons List or Entity List. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are not located in any such country or on any such list, and that you will not use the App for any purpose prohibited by United States law.
U.S. Government Rights. The App and related documentation constitute “Commercial Items” as defined at 48 C.F.R. §2.101, consisting of “Commercial Computer Software” and “Commercial Computer Software Documentation.” The App is licensed to U.S. Government end users only as Commercial Items and with only those rights granted to all other end users under these Terms.
Third-Party Beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Governing Law (Apple EULA). Notwithstanding the Oregon governing law provision in Section 9 of the Terms of Service above, your license to use the App on Apple devices, and the relationship between you and Apple with respect to the App Store, is governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflicts of law provisions. Any disputes related solely to your App Store license shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located within Santa Clara County, California.
