1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Meetsies app and website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

2. Eligibility & Safety

• Age: You must be at least 18 years old to use Meetsies.
• User Conduct: You agree to use the app for its intended purpose of connecting with others respectfully. Harassment, illegal activities, or impersonation will result in immediate account termination.
• In-Person Meetings: Meetsies provides a platform for people to connect. We do not conduct background checks. You acknowledge that meeting strangers in person carries inherent risks, and you agree to take all necessary safety precautions. Meetsies is not liable for any interactions, injuries, or disputes that occur during or after meetings arranged through the platform.

3. SMS Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile number, you agree to receive transactional and/or promotional text messages from Meetsies.

• Consent: You represent that you are the account holder for the mobile number provided.
• Costs: Standard message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier.
• Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your activity within the app (e.g., meeting confirmations, updates).

8. User Agreement & Acknowledgment

Your use of the Meetsies website constitutes your initial agreement to these terms. Furthermore, upon installing and opening the Meetsies mobile application for the first time, you will be required to explicitly acknowledge and accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy before creating an account or accessing our services. This “Click-to-Accept” agreement during the app onboarding process is a binding confirmation of your intent to follow our community standards and safety guidelines.
